WHAT WE SEE (WEBSITE):

  • Your traffic fluctuated between 1-2k users/mo most of the year.

  • There is no continuous, predictable growth. There are spikes and drops.

  • August & September were the most popular months.

  • Form - lots of forms to schedule a meeting begin but are not submitted.

    • In February there were 1187 forms that were started, but only 7 submitted.

    • Highest conversion rate was in August - 19 forms that were started, and 18 submitted.

  • Analytics is only set up to track your scheduling CTA despite MTO having many other offerings.

WHAT WE SEE (CONTENT):

  • Organic search consistently grows due to content output

  • If content were better optimized, we predict to see higher growth

  • Referral traffic spikes in January, March, May & November, were there interviewees that shared your podcasts?

  • Organic social growth looks good - keep doing what you’re doing

  • Newsletters, what went out in January, April, July & November?

SUGGESTIONS:

  • With optimized content (meta-descriptions, alt-text, optimized slugs, SEO keywords you can rank for) we predict to see higher growth

  • Consider more collaborations with creators/therapists to increase referral traffic

Blog Content

WHAT WE SEE:

  • Good information to share but search terms were likely unattainable for your domain authority.

    • MTO’s domain authority (DA) is 12

    • SEO words/terms that the other company was having you rank for would require (on average) a DA of 50+ to compete

  • Formatting for blogs is not optimized

    • No meta-descriptions or alt-text

      • Missing 33 meta-descriptions

      • 44 slugs are over 155 characters

      • 96 images missing alt-text

  • Top performing blog post: “How to Stop Being a Nice Guy”

    • Had almost double the view time (1m 21s) than any other content. Meaning, that this is an important conversation.

  • Is there a way to revisit this conversation and create additional content here? Email sequencing, course, video, etc.

  • Suggestion:

    • Start with a content focus on SEO blogging to more consistently increase traffic and then move into more thought leadership blogging once DA increases.

    • Compete on top pieces from competition

SUGGESTIONS:

  1. Generate additional value for blogs through interactive content (videos, checklists, downloads, etc)

  2. Journal blogs are hurting you (lack of formatting which brings down your DA & stunts growth). We suggest removing or revamping these posts.
