JB has a lot to offer that differentiates him from other executive “coaches” out there, but didn’t quite know how to communicate that. That’s where Erica Bonser and I came in! Erica worked with JB on brand positioning, narrative and website copy. I then handled all things visual, both brand identity and web design.

Using the colors, logo and concepts from the brand - I implemented collage graphics and patterns to liven the brand up without weighing the site down with large solid blocks of color. Circular imagery mimics the shape of their best seller - the Under-the-Tongue Melts. We also went with a Squarespace/Shopify hybrid site in order to retain the flexibility with design that Squarespace allows with the robust sales capabilities of Shopify.

Emi reached out to me for a special photography project – capturing the essence of Blonding Parlour, a salon that wants to highlight its inviting atmosphere. The goal was to showcase the chic and modern vibe of the salon and attract people who crave a high-end experience.

The Colorado Shoe School teaches students how to make their own sneakers, boots, derby shoes, fanny packs, sandals and more! They needed a revamped website that makes it easy for students to schedule classes.

Richard is a consultant to independent insurance and financial professionals. The industry standard is very simple with a big dash of boring, but Richard didn’t want that for his site. He wanted a bit more personality to draw in viewers, but done in a way that remained professional and would still appeal to the types of clients he tends to work with.

TEENS, Inc needed a major website refresh to improve flow and functionality, as they have many programs and offerings that they’d like more people to learn about. Because TEENS hasn’t had a consistent visual brand identity in the past, I worked on incorporating colors, textures and type that they can use moving forward to appeal to both teens, their parents and donors alike. We made use of accordion blocks and galleries to convey lots of information without overwhelming the user.

Kathryn came to me after a previous experience with a designer didn’t pan out. We were able to go over the aesthetic and approach she was hoping for, and I had some ideas for how to incorporate the jewel tones and purples she wanted without letting the colors overpower the website. With the use of curated imagery, pill buttons and highlighted text, we were able to give her site a moody vibe while still looking professional and clean.

David & Derek of the SMMA Blueprint came to me looking for fresh eyes on their brand & sales pages. While many competitors in the industry seem to appeal to a largely male population, David & Derek wanted to ensure that those of all identities felt welcome and interested in the SMMA education space. Therefore I crafted a clean, modern & fun aesthetic for them that has a more gender-neutral feel.

Wild Bear Nature Center is a non-profit based in Nederland, CO. Their mission is to inspire a lifelong connection to nature & community through creative exploration of the outdoors. They host programs for children as well as adults, summer nature camp, and are in the process of building a new nature center.
