This page will serve as a reference for anything you might forget during all the hype.
If you have any other questions— shoot us a Slack message! All communication during this process will be through Slack so we can keep track of everything in one spot without feeling like we’re losing our minds.

Wondering where to go for what? Here is the list of software you’ll see and what we use them for during this process.

Access your contract, invoice, payment history, and call scheduler in your Honeybook Client Portal.

Rather than sending email threads that become overwhelming and hard to track, we communicate via Slack. This allows you to have instant access to us and all of your important links at the top of the chat box for quick reference.
🚨 If you haven’t used Slack before, don’t worry — it’s super easy. And we’re not just saying that because we’re Millennials. It’s like the group chat you have with your family — just a little more professional. -
Pre-work: This is where we’ll collect your website copy, brand assets, brand guide, and imagery you’d like used (this will vary depending on what we’re working on with you)
VIP Day: This is where Erica will work with you on strategy, narrative, and copy for your website (if applicable)
Day After Your VIP Day: This is where you can leave any final feedback on documents by 9AM MST. We’ll also deliver all of your assets, documents and tutorials here 12PM.

VIP Day: This is where Jenny will work with you on any type of visual design and website work (if applicable). You can leave feedback anywhere on the page(s), eliminating the guesswork and allowing you to get specific about what is and isn’t working.
Day After Your VIP Day: This is where you can leave any final feedback on design by 9AM MST.

Before your VIP Day
Connect with us via your private Slack Channel
Upload your brand assets/images to our shared Google Drive folder
Complete your client worksheet in Google Docs (via our shared Google Drive folder)
Schedule & attend your Pre-VIP Day call to ask/answer questions and make sure we’re all on the same page about your priority list.
On your VIP Day
11AM - Check in with us on Slack, and we’ll share what we have done so far! This is your opportunity to give us some early feedback that we’ll use to inform the rest of our work.
2PM - Check in with us on Slack again for more feedback.
5PM - We’ll share what we got accomplished during the day. Take it all in and sleep on it.
After your VIP Day
Let us know by 9AM MT the morning after your VIP Day if you’d like us to make any changes during your complimentary hour of “fix” support. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you’re in love with everything and don’t need any changes.

WHAT WE DO
Before your VIP Day
Set up ALL the things — Your Slack channel, shared Google Drive folder, customize your client homework based on your project, etc.
Communication is key — we’re here if you have any questions while you’re doing your homework! Hit us up on Slack. 💬
Review your homework and check to make sure we have all of the images/assets we need from you
Jump on your Pre-VIP Day call to answer any questions you might have and ask some of our own!
On your VIP Day
9AM - We get to work and start busting through your to-do list!
11AM - Check in with you on Slack for feedback.
2PM - Check in with you on Slack for more feedback!
5PM - We’ll share what we accomplished during the day, and then we shut our computers and get some rest so we can come back the next morning to check for any final feedback.
After your VIP Day
9AM - We’re here for 1 additional hour of work to make any final changes you may have requested. If no changes are necessary, we start exporting your final assets & documents and creating a final walk-through video.
Once we’ve completed your “fixes” (or if no changes are necessary), we start exporting your final assets & documents and creating a final walk-through video for you.
We stick around for 30 days of Slack support for any questions you might have.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
VIP Day Policies

Because we’re working with such a tight timeframe, having EVERYTHING we need on time is twice as important. Honestly, the pressure is part of the beauty of VIP Days — when you have too long to do something, more tends to get in the way.
If client homework is incomplete, our pre-VIP Day call can’t be scheduled. If the call doesn’t happen, neither does the VIP Day. In this case, we will have to reschedule your VIP Day and a $500 rescheduling fee will be incurred.

We understand that life is unpredictable, and things come up. Please let us know in writing if you need to reschedule your VIP Day at least 7 days in advance, and we will get you rescheduled at no extra cost.
Within 7 days, rescheduling will result in a $500 rescheduling fee.
We know that your time is also valuable and that you may have lost income in setting aside this day or getting your homework done on time. If for some reason WE need to reschedule your VIP day, we’ll apply a $500 credit (or refund if you’ve paid in full) to your project.

Should you need to cancel your VIP Day, please let us know in writing as soon as possible!
For cancellations prior to 30 days before your VIP Day: We will refund you in full minus a $500 administrative fee.
For cancellations within 30 days of your VIP Day: While your 50% retainer is non-refundable at that point, we will refund any additional payments that have been made.

We are fully confident that you will NOT want a refund, but as a reminder, this service is for our time and not for any specific deliverables. No refunds will be given after the VIP Day is complete.
